As I see it, Mark Robinson is not all that clever a politician. At some some Black public figures who are right wing or lean to the right like John McWhorter , Glenn Loury etc.. are sophisticated enough to couch their antics into rhetoric that can persuade some people (I can see through them), to be swayed by their disingenuous rhetoric. Robinson could not even convince all except the most far right wild, eyed jingoistic MAGA folks of his false shenanigans.
