As usual, spot on article David. We saw the same situation with Katt Williams when he hurled verbal hand grenades about fellow Black male comedians. What is just as disturbing to me is the fact that , more often than note, a sizable segment of Black America seems to be all too eager to partake in such reductive shenanigans.
The old adage "misery loves company," is often , sad but true. For many Black Americans, (the same can apply to people of other races), whose lives are often politically, socially, economically, educationally, environmentally marginalized, such "entertainment" provides a perverse outlet for such individuals to feel less resentful about their often vapid lives.
Regardless, as you state, there are no win for in Black America by engaging is such sordid, psychologically reductive drama.
