I am a college professor. I have taught in Honors colleges. At least 90 % of those students tend to be White. Some are Asian. The number of Black students is often less than 1%. All of these students receive a full scholarship. In fact, I was informed by an acquaintance who taught at the University of Florida, a school that has a significant amount of upscale students, that virtually every student 98% at the institution is on a full tuition scholarship. Yes, upper income students do frequently benefit from such programs, however, the majority of these students are not Black or other non-Whites.
