I think the reason some Black people , (not all, certainly not me) get upset if a biracial Black person refers to themselves as biracial is due to the fact that these men and women see them as trying to distance themselves from their Blackness.. I think that many times they are paying acknowledgment to both parents, their relatives, both side s of their heritage etc... It is certainly their right to do so!
