The American Psychological Association has recently considered racism a mental disorder. I would concur.

To be sure , there are amyn racist that are functional , well behaved people. In fact,many are quite sophisticated. That does not dispel the fact that they suffer from metnal illness. Many well behaved, normally funtioning peoiple can still suffer from diseases. I would agree with the AMA that this applies to racists.
